Adam Mitchell retires 2015-11-13
Adam Mitchell has announced his retirement from League of Ireland football. In a message to Bray supporters Adam said "If you could pass on my thanks to all the lads in the supporters club id appreciate it. We've always had a small but loyal and dedicated bunch of supporters who always got behind the team even when times were bad. Would have liked to win more games and had less red cards (and stitches/staples) but think I can leave saying I always gave 110% for the club. Genuinely loved my time with the club and will definitely have my boys out to games when they are a bit older and Bray will always be the first result I look for. Wish the club and supporters all the very best in the future."
Adam signed from Bangor Celtic in July 2010 . He made his debut in the league defeat to Sporting Fingal at the Carlisle in the same month. Former Ireland amateur international. Adam was player of the Month in June 2011 and July 2014. He made 111 appearances and scored one goal in all competitions for Bray Wanderers. Return to news index
