Under 19 League Ballybrack, Astro pitch 13 March 2016 Bray Wanderers began their league campaign with a deserved 2-0 win over Wexford Youths at the Ballybrack Astro pitch. Wanderers were on top in the early stages with Shane Barnes (6 mins) and Troy Carey (13m) having good strikes on goal. Carey, again, went close after 22 minutes. Wexford came into the game late in the first half and Sean Fogarty had to be at his best to turn a good effort around the post for a corner. Wexford forced back to back corners after that. Shane Barnes went close for Wanderers just before the break. Barnes opened the scoring on 48 minutes when the ball fell to him in the area and he fired low to the net. On 71 minutes substitute Christian Dietz was on hand at the back post to head home Wanderers second goal of the afternoon. On 74 minutes Sean Quinns long range effort bounced off the Wexford crossbar.
