Bray Wanderers suffered their only pre-season defeat at the hands of a Garda International squad. The Seagulls' side put out however had an average agre of no more than 23 or so and it’s not a great surprise that they fell victim to a 33rd minute strike from Garda striker Aidan Clarke, who pounced to rifle home after Wanderers failed to clear their lines from a corner. Both Shane O’Neill and Darren Dunne missed glorious opportunities to give Bray the lead prior to Clarke’s opener, but on both occasions they found the side netting rather than the back of the net.
